The E3 is one of the most highly anticipated events for gamers each year. It is an opportunity to learn what is new in the gaming industry, view upcoming releases and see future trends. Kinect splashed onto the gaming scene last year by offering gamers something they had never experienced before, the chance to play a game without using a remote control. The only thing lacking in the many games is the fact that the catalog varied in quality as some seemed rushed to get out on the market while others that were more thought out were a great deal of fun. However, in the last few months the new offerings for Kiinect have seemed a bit stale and Dance Central is getting a bit boring.
Rumors have already started flying about the next Call of Duty game which is tentatively being called the Elite version which is appearing to look a great deal like Modern Warfare 2. Although everyone was hoping to hear the news hit on Monday with an official announcement when Activision made their earning call, only a few details trickled out including the fact that the game will be hear sometime in 2011. While it may still be some time until gamers see anything concrete, there are a few unofficial logos that started circulating this week.
Rage is a first person shooter game developed by id Software. It uses id Tech 5 engine – a new engine developed by the company. The main character played by the user is as a member from an Ark who is responsible to rebuild Earth.

I Am Alive is action game developed by Ubisoft Shanghai and is published by Ubisoft. Although, it was scheduled to released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Microsoft Windows and Wii in 2010, but is delayed until 2011. Although the game takes place in Chicago after earthquake has destroyed the city and is separated from mainland, while rest of the world suffers a water crisis.
L.A. Noire is an exciting video game developed by Team Bondi with Rockstar Games and is published by Rockstar Games. The game is expected to release on May 2011. The game is releasing for PlayStation 3 and Xbox. L.A. Noire is set in “a perfectly re-created Los Angeles” of 1947.
Why is Beyond Good & Evil 2 so significant to Ubisoft? Because it’s a sequel to a game – Beyond Good & Evil, that was, at least financially, a flop.
